12 down…6 to go!

Hello Family!!!

I am one truly blessed girl. It was so great to be able to Skype with you guys! It has been a whole YEAR since I have seen you all! That was a special treat for me. I love you guys more than you will ever know! You are all my very best friends.
Our investigator got baptized this week! It was a very special day. He has been investigating the church since December and was more than ready to be baptized. Bishop and his family bore sweet testimonies and everything went smoothly. It is very special to watch someone you have taught get baptized. We, as missionaries, get to watch the spirit change the hearts of the people we are teaching. Our investigator now member knows without a doubt that the church is true and he feels very close to his Heavenly Father and Savior. I am so grateful for this gospel!
We started a weekly scripture study class with all of the recent converts and the first one was this past Thurdsay! It went SO well. The objective is to help these wonderful people retain their conversion and to fellowship with each other. We hope that they will all become best friends and help support and sustain each other in the gospel. All of our newly baptized members came. Along with a lady who was baptized back in November and is now a ward missionary!
We spent some time with the sisters this week and they are really growing. They read the Book of Mormon everyday and are already in Alma! They have only been baptized for two weeks! They are really changing the ward as well. The ward is so excited about missionary work. The girls have also been great examples to their family. Their mom wants to talk with us alone this week! I am excited to hear what she has to say. Their whole family has seen a major change in them.
We are really focusing on finding new people to teach again this week! We need more people in our teaching pool. We got this referral from another set of missionaries to go see this lady. She has been to church before with friends and wants to be a member. It was really exciting! She feels she needs this change in her life. We will see what happens with her!
Sister Bishop and I have been having a lot of fun together this week. Since we are only allowed to get together with other missionaries twice a transfer we are all we have! Last P day we had a lot of fun shopping and eating. Two of my favorite things. Today who knows what we will do! She is really funny and we are getting along great.
I love you guys so much! Have a good week!
Love,
Sister Cassell
